Music video: Double & Namie Amuro - Black diamond

Double and Namie Amuro's PV for their collaboration "Black diamond" premiered today and you can see it for yourself below...

The girls looked hot in their black get up. Namie took over the whole damn video and she barely did anything. All she did was shimmy a little and give death stares into the camera. The video could've been hotter though. Both girls looked like they couldn't be bothered and I'm not sure what that shit was with Double and Namie dancing whilst a bunch of Sonic the hedgehog chaos emeralds floated around them in a circle.

As for the song, I don't know what to think about it. I'm tired of these cookie cutter, over synthed songs coming out of the woodwork. We can blame Nate 'Danja' Hills for that one. Ever since he went synth crazy on Justin Timerlake's FutureSex/LoveSounds and Britney Spears' Blackout albums - every artist and producer has been clammering to get on the bandwagon and biting his style. "Black diamond" isn't shit, but it isn't brilliant either. The girls are lucky they at least looked hot in the video.

Something that some R&B and choreography fans (and gay peeps) may be interested in is that Jonté choreographed the video. The dancing was some shuffle from side to side bullshit though. He should've done more with the dancing. It's not like Namie and Double can't move and are strangers to more elaborate routines.
